Pam & Rick

Pam and Rick have been one of the kindest couples I have met. The day of this engagement session we went out to eat at this awesome restaurant in Manhattan and had an awesome time. The photo session was a blast too! It was my first time shooting in Grand Central. Very cool! I'm very excited about their wedding coming up in March! :)

Mary Kay and Luke

I was honored to be part of Mary Kay and Luke's wedding about a month ago. I had such a great time capturing such an awesome day for them. Mary Kay is awesome and has become one of my biggest fans! She's so much fun and I think you all will see that in these pictures. Enjoy!

Wii Day!

So I'm a HUGE soccer fan and wanted to watch the live match between Boca and Milan this morning at 5am. Since I don't have cable I asked my friend kiki if I could watch it at the place she babysits and lives.  She said sure! So early in the am before the sun is even out and in the middle of a bad snowstorm, I trek all the way there and watch what turned out to be an awesome 4-2 Milan win (kaka is soo good!).

The fun didn't end there, since this Wii thing came out last year it has been the hottest new thing out there so much so that you can't get it anywhere without standing in crazy lines or having some kind of inside scoop at your local walmart or target of when they'll be handing out the infamous 'number tickets'. Kiki decides she needs to stand in line this morning at 5:30am and go for one for her dad.

SO at half time I took her and dropped her off. I said to myself if there is still some left when I get back to pick her up after the game I should pick one up (I could sell it on ebay for $500 even). I had played it once before and it looked like so much fun!

So of course wen I get there they still had numbers (I got 57 out of 90 something). As they let everyone in the store the excitement was too much! I was actually getting a Wii that I didn't realize I needed!!!

As we left Target there were some people at the back of the line already too late since they had no tickets left, yet they waited to see if they still got lucky. As for me and kiki we both walked away with a Wii each in hand!

........later today I set it up at home and played the Wi Sports games it comes with as well as the Wii Play games....this thing is every bit as cool as they make it out to be! :) Come over and let's play!

Natalia

Sometimes we need to see things from a completely different angle to appreciate their beauty. This happened to me this past weekend.

For my sister's birthday I decided to get some photos of her. She HATES photos being take of her. I wanted to prove to her and show her just how beautiful she is.

I think I have always known she was pretty but as I took photos of her and then worked on them a bit on my computer I realized just how stunning she is.

As an older brother I don't tend to look at my sisters as beautiful, they are after all younger siblings: there to bow down to me and do whatever I want them to and point the finger to when I got in trouble.  But how times have changed.

Am I now a proud older brother!? Definitely. See for yourself.....

Merry Christmas...with Third Day!

I took my sister to see her first Third Day concert this past saturday in Greenville, SC. I have seen these guys several times and was excited to see how they would do a Christmas concert.

They did not disappoint!

I was only able to get a few shots, event security is getting tighter and tighter with cameras and they tried to take away my 'film' as I was shooting. When I told the lady I don't have any film but a media card, she didn't know what to say and just walked away! It was hilarious!  Maybe digital hasn't caught on in Greenville! j/k! Love South Carolina! :)

Waiting for Joshua Jr........

The best part of getting to visit Kentucky for the first time was being able to spend some time with my sister and brother in law and their adoptive son Jeremiah. Of course we are all super excited about the baby coming at the end of this year. It's weird to even think that I will be an uncle, but that is life! I'm very excited about this little dude coming into our lives and I can't wait.
Here's some pics I got to take of my sister, josh and some of the baby room.
Josh is a Carolina fan, this poor kid won't have any choice there!

First time in Kentucky!

So part of my trip to see my family took us to Lousville, Kentucky (where my sister and her husband live). Since it was my first time there they took me to all the 'sites'. Two of which include Churchill Downs (where they run the Kentucky Derby) and the Lousville Slugger Museum.
These horses are beautiful! I bet my sister $10 that horse number 9 would win the race we saw...I shouldn't tell you that the friekin ' horse finished dead last!!!! Good thing my sister forgot about the bet! :)These original bats where genuine replicas that Babe Ruth and others used. (somehow I doubt the Babe used this one very bat)
Let's Go Yankees!!!

It's been a long time...

I know I have not blogged in over two months. No particular reason, just have not made time for it. I decided last night to start again and maybe even make it a new year's resolution to blog a little more often. After all there's so much of life that happens that I would love to share and specially lots of photo adventures that I would love to show you all. so here goes....

I've been on vacation since Thanksgiving weekend here at my parent's home in Charlotte, NC. It's been great to get away from my day to day in NY and just sleep, and bum around.

Last night my mom decided to get out the Christmas decorations and put the tree and other stuff up. I haven't decorated a tree in years so doing it with my mom and sister was just awesome! I only hung up a couple of the decorations, but was amazed to see a couple of the dated ornaments from 2002 and 1988! I know it's not that old but 1988!!??!?! that's a while ago! Here's a couple of the pics I took of my sister and mom.

Happy Birthday Maddie!

Today was a pretty life changing day for Mandy and Rashidi. Their beautiful baby girl Madison Ann was born! I was fortunate to be able to see the baby about 2 hours after she was born.

She is beautiful!

I don't need to say anymore just take a look for yourself...
