HAPPY 2009!

2009 was a great year. I started it off in January by going on a missions trip to the Philippines where I was abel to document the work that some amazing missionaries are doing in the city of Cebu. In February I got engaged to the amazing Kimberly Webb. :) In March I got to take her to visit my home country of Ecuador where we spent an amazing few days just visiting every possible family member we could think of. The summer was full of shooting weddings and engagement sessions. In July Kimberly and I got married on a beautiful cooler than normal July day. Our honeymoon took us to Ireland and then finished it up in London. We've spent the last 6 months since being married getting used to living together and watching our dreams and lives come together in a pretty unique way.

As I look back at my 2009 it is amazing how it has gone from being 'my' 2009 to 'our' 2009. That is the defining moment of my year and as I look to 2010 I am beyond excited on what it's going to bring!

Thank you all for staying in touch and I hope that we stay connected throughout this coming year. MANY new changes and exciting things coming our way! Stay tuned!! :)

I got picked for the Knot Best of Weddings 2010!!!!

I have some exciting new to share with you all! I got a call from the knot this week to tell me that andres valenzuela photography was picked to be 'best of weddings for 2010'!! How cool is this!

At first I didn't know what to say but the lady sensed my shock and so explained it to me and said that they surveyed 'the knot brides' and it was they that submitted ratings on their favorite vendors for their wedding. So this is even more awesome in that it is couples themselves that rated me this way!

I'm so grateful for this honor to be included in their Best of Weddings for 2010! And I'm so grateful to all my past couples who rated my services!

I have some big news to announce VERY soon and this just comes in such a timely manner!

Thank you beautiful couples who let me photograph you and thank you photographers who have come along and photographed with me on my weddings! You all make this worth doing!

:)
