Japan/Korea 2002!

I was going through my archives and found some from my first trip to a World Cup in Japan and Korea in 2002. These two countries were fascinating and the people absolutely amazing. I actually had a couple of girls go about 15 minutes out of their way to take me to where I was trying to go!

Ecuador vs Italy - Ecuador's first game in a world cup EVER. For a country as small as ours this was a momentous event and I had to travel all the way to Sapporo to experience it! Unfortunately we lost 2-0. :(

Ecuador v Mexico - Ecuador's second game. Started off amazing when we scored in the 3rd minute but then it all went sour when we let Mexico come back and beat us 2-1. :(

Ecuador v Croatia - Our last game, we had nothing to lose and so went out and played like we deserved to be here. We won 1-0 and left the stadium and the world cup with our heads held high. Next time it would be different....

I got to experience the second game vs Mexico with my dad. I think it was a dream come true for both of us in many ways!

These guys didn't know a lick of italian and probably didn't even know any of the players but they jumped on the italian bandwagon anyways!

After the first round games in Japan I took a flight to Korea and experienced soccer Asian style. The atmosphere for that game against Italy was amazing.

I took a chance to do some sightseeing and got to go to Deajeon and see some cool places.

After the game vs Italy my friend Cristina and I stayed up till 4am in the streets of Seoul celebrating with the whole country. For one night I was korean!

Third Day Rocks!!

I'm not a big fan of Christian Music but these dudes simply rock! I love their music, their lyrics and their concerts are amazing! I've had the pleasure of seeing them over 4 times in the last few years. The last of which was at Creation 2007. Here's some of my favorites. Mac's the man!

US Open...

So I live about 30 minutes from the greatest city in the world and one of my favorite things to do each year is attend one of the most electrifying sporting events: the US Open! Two years ago I was fortunate enough to be able to go to a couple sessions including the FINAL!! I saw Federer beat Agassi and pick up his 2nd US Open in a row. The guy is unbelievable! Here's some of the images I was able to get with my nice zoom lens!

The day of the mens final they always have the women's champion come out and do a photo shoot for all these photographers. I found myself a nice spot and got several pictures of Kim Clijsters with her trophy, very cool!

I was also able to get this photo of Martina Navratilova. she is crazy strong!

They also have the final of wheelchair tennis. These guys were amazing!

Yep! this was my view of Arthur Ashe Stadium. My zoom lens is NICE!

This was after Agassi played a marathon 5 set match against James Blake. The match went to 1:15 in the morning. It was definitely the best tennis match I had ever witnessed!

This is one of my favorite shots of Agassi.

Got to see Venus too! She's as tough as she seems on tv!

Can anyone stop this guy from winning everything that is not on red clay!?!

Tilden

My friend Tilden gave me the opportunity to try out some fashion photos of him last year.  The shoot was lots of fun and when you got a hot model to work with it's pretty easy to get awesome photos.

It's not all weddings.....

It hasn't been all weddings in the last few years. As I started shooting more and more weddings my passion for photography as a whole keeps growing. So pretty much any opportunity I get to shoot something different I don't miss!

Here's an example of one of those times. I had a chance to go see a classic car show in PA a few summers back and got these images of some cool cars you only see in movies. It was fascinating to see just how much into these cars the owners were. The cars were pretty sweet!
