Ana Isabel Rules!

I work crazy hours and for the last few months have just not had time to clean my place. so I hired this awesome housekeeper named Ana Isabel. She came to my place today for the first time and did her thing! When I got home tonight the place was spotless! I hope to get a picture of her sometime so you can meet her. She is a sweet and humble lady and am so excited she is my personal housekeeper! 

This may be my best move ever! 

Spurs Win!!!!

Those of you who know me, know I am a crazy futbol fan! The first futbol club I fell in love with as a kid was Tottenham Hotspur and today we won our first big trophy since 1999!  When you are in the same league as the likes of Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, it's a big deal when someone other than those four wins something and we have done it!!!

Hanging with some Giants....

I just got back form NYC where I attended another awesome workshop with two of the most celebrated wedding photographers out there today! Mike Colon and Bob Davis shared so much of their knowledge and experience with a bunch of us New Yorkers. To say these dudes are incredible photographers is the biggest understatement. These guys are GIANTS in the wedding industry and to just be able to listen to them talk about how they are doing their thing, was so inspiring! Thank you guy for making the stop here!

I also got to hang out with my good friend Kenny Kim whom I met at DJ's Freedom and Slumber last month. I got his sweet looking t-shirt. We look like twins don't we!!?!?! :)  

Day Off!

I had my first full saturday off today! First one in...I don't even know how long...! 

I slept in and then bummed around my house, did some cleanup on my computer and just was lazy! felt so good! When's the last time you had a full day off to do nothing and feel like you had to do nothing? Not sure when the next one will be for me so let me go and continue to do nothing....:) 

Oh I guess I did do one thing, make that picture widget of some pics of myself on the right of the blog! 

Double B-Day Party!

I got to be at two parties this past weekend for two of the coolest kids I know! Seth had his 4th  birthday party! He's a little stud and loves to run at you with his lion face and fight you to the death! I would not mess with him if I were you! Happy Birthday Seth! 

The other party was for the coolest girl south of the border (jersey border that is!). Sunny had her 5th birthday party and wanted a solar system theme! The party was a big hit amongst young and old, specially Damien (aka dad) who came out in his homemade super duper stellar out of this world sweet space outfit! see below.... Kids are so much fun! I need a couple! :) 

Karen & Tim

My new friends Karen and Tim came up from North Carolina this past weekend to finalize some planning for their wedding in New Jersey this summer. We were able to plan an engagement photo session during their time here. What we didn't plan for was for the tundra like weather we got on monday! It was in the 20's with wind chills in the teens!!!! It had been in the 40 and even 50's for the last two weeks!! As you can see we got some nice pics outside by the hudson river but could only bear it for about 5 minutes! 

Afterwards we decided to hit one of the local malls and to my surprise we found a photogenic spot and got some cool pics! My new favorite place to shoot...The Mall! :) 

These guys are great and I'm looking forward to their wedding in July! 

amazing discovery!

I had the most amazing discovery yesterday. I was introduced to one of man's most amazing creations...Moon Sand! Those of you that have never encountered the sheer joy that moon sand sends through your fingers when you touch it have just not lived! My friend Sunny had her 5th year birthday party yesterday and this was one of her gifts that she allowed me to play with. We made some cool castles and elephants and alligators and just got to hang out and experience Moon Sand in all it's glory! If you've never got to play with Moon Sand you have been missing out! I'm out to get some tomorrow!!! :)

Bethany & Erik

I did this photo shoot with my friends Bethany and Erik in January and it was my last photo shoot with my Nikon D200. I got the D3 the following week and havent looked back. But as my last time with the D200 this is kind of an ode to it! hahaha! The camera was awesome and served me for over a year really well!

The day was kind of cold so props to Bethany and Erik for enduring the cold northeast weather and even taking their coats off for the last few pics! Can't wait for their wedding!

Lisa & Joe

Since returning from the Freedom and Slumber weekend at DJ's house I had been super anxious to get on with my first wedding of the year. Lisa and Joe were just awesome and their wedding turned out to be so cool and fun. They are very unique and it made my job so much easier as they were just so comfortable around each other and just had a great time the whole day. I also met some cool people who had come from all over for this wedding. Lot's of fun! :) 

Nyack wins!!!

Nyack College's women's team had a big night tonight! They beat arch-rival Dominican College for the first time since 1999! It was specially satisfying since they came back from 10 points down to win by 2! The joy that senior Taz Lathon had when the final buzzer rang was infectious! 

I'm still buzzing from the Giant's amazing win two days ago so this was awesome to see!

I just got back from my first wedding of the year.  I had a great time but I am exhausted! The whole wedding was great and we even got good weather (40 degrees!!!) for NY that is warm in Feb! We took some shots in this cool record store in Brooklyn and this is one of my favorites. Isn't his suit sweet!? I'll be working on their slideshow in the next few days so you'll be able to see some more.....
